Tutoring students  provided rich experiences in literature and composition to expand language experiences. They also develop the oral and written language skills to become lifelong learners, with instruction that includes spelling, word study, grammar and usage.

Tutoring science through laboratory investigations and experiments, reading, technology and problem solving. Tutoring helps to support instructions of life science units by delivering a variety of living organisms -- as well as seeds, sand and soil -- into the classroom.

Tutoring social studies provide the foundational knowledge and skills necessary for young students to become empowered, informed, and socially responsible citizens. Through the study of history, geography, economics, and civics, students learn to interact with, and contribute to the world in which they live. Learning how to evaluate sources of information, craft arguments based on evidence, and take informed action helps students develop their civic identity and voice.
